I live in Finland = I'm a Finn

My name is Risto, and my journey towards YouTube started in 2022 when I received my first outdoor stove as a gift. After that, I started hiking and camping excessively, and in late 2024 I decided to film my first video.

Along the ride, I have shared many memorable adventures, but also my personal life. I have fought with chronic pain this whole time, but being outdoors relieves some of that pain.

My goal is to share the beautiful nature of Finland to the world and encourage others to go outdoors!

New Video: Night in the wilderness under a bushcraft tarp shelter (ready)

I built a bushcraft shelter using a tarp, chopped down a few dead trees to get firewood, and learned to ignite feather sticks with a fire steel.

I spent another night in the wilderness without a tent or a sleeping bag. This time tho, truly without. I have had my wearable sleeping bag/blanket with me, but this time I left it home as well.

New Video: 3 days bushcrafting and fishing on an island (ready)

I spent 3 days on a remote island in the Finnish wilderness. To get there I had to go through swamps and a narrow river with my packraft boat. But it was all worth it, the lake was filled with big perch and pikes. Didn't need to eat much else than the fish I caught. This was an epic adventure and one of my favourite videos!

New Video: Packraft and bushcraft survival

I plan to go on a trip with my new packraft boat, build a bushcraft shelter to survive through the night, and do some fishing. Lets see how the trip turns out :)

New Video: 2 weeks Southern Finland Vlog

We will travel to Southern Finland for a summer holiday, visiting our summer cottage and exploring the capital of Finland, Helsinki. This will be a bit different video from my other content.

Long project: raising sheep

My sister is raising sheep and I am helping her, so I will film and document the whole process of building a sheep fence, harvesting food for the sheep, raising the sheep, and processing them to food.
