I live in Finland = I'm a Finn

My name is Risto, and my journey towards YouTube started in 2022 when I received my first outdoor stove as a gift. After that, I started hiking and camping excessively, and in late 2024 I decided to film my first video.

Along the ride, I have shared many memorable adventures, but also my personal life. I have fought with chronic pain this whole time, but being outdoors relieves some of that pain.

My goal is to share the beautiful nature of Finland to the world and encourage others to go outdoors!

I stayed overnight at a beautiful wilderness lake in the Finnish Lapland. I built a bushcraft shelter, a long-lasting log fire, and stayed the night without a sleeping bag.

We still plan to go for a hike or two before winter and snow arrives. Not 100% sure of the destinations yet, but most likely Lapland

I'm taking my spouse on a surprise trip that she has no clue about. All I say that there are going to be some visitors on it as well ;)

I will participate in a survival bootcamp held by a Finnish professional over 3 weekends. Each of the weekends focuses on different topics, starting from the basics and building up. I will make a 3-part survival-oriented series of this, teaching you on the go.

Approximate publish dates:

1st episode: Aug 30 (ready)

2nd episode: Oct 4

3rd episode: Oct 18

My sister is raising sheep and I am helping her, so I will film and document the whole process of building a sheep fence, harvesting food for the sheep, raising the sheep, and processing them to food.
